My favorite part about working at NCSA is getting to be a guide for student-athletes and their families during one of the most exciting—and sometimes overwhelming—times in their lives. As a former NCAA men’s lacrosse player, I know just how impactful the recruiting process can be. It’s more than just picking a school; it’s about finding the right fit to grow as an athlete, student, and person. I experienced that firsthand when I moved from Texas to Georgia to attend Piedmont University. Leaving home wasn’t easy, but choosing a school that aligned with my academic, athletic, and personal goals made all the difference. That experience is something I now carry with me when helping other athletes make those life-changing decisions.
Lacrosse has been a major part of my life for years. It’s more than a sport—it’s a passion. I’m driven not only to give back to the game that gave me so much, but also to help it grow. I believe the next generation of athletes is raising the standard in every sport, and I love being part of that progress—whether it’s coaching on the field or supporting student-athletes through recruiting.
At Piedmont, I stayed active off the field as well—calling baseball and basketball games on the radio, filming soccer matches, hosting a student-run radio station, and producing a 12-episode podcast on the student-athlete experience. My sports communications capstone focused on sports marketing strategies to increase fan engagement and game-day experiences.
I had the opportunity to coach my former high school lacrosse team post-graduation last season, staying close to the game and mentoring younger athletes. When I’m not coaching or working with NCSA families, I enjoy creating content, spending time with family and friends, and staying connected to the ever-evolving world of sports.
