2018-19 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Taryn Kile, and I am a 5'4" shooting guard from Goodpasture Christian School in Madison, Tennessee. I've been playing basketball ever since I was in middle school, but I have been going to the school's little kid camp since I was in 1st grade. Throughout my years of playing basketball, I have learned so many great lessons on how to be a great teammate, great leader, and a great person on and off the court. As a senior, I have improved my leadership skills during high school by becoming more vocal, encouraging, and owning up to my mistakes. While playing basketball and being involved in many different extra curricular activities, such as marching band being a main one, I have managed to maintain above a 4.0 GPA during high school. Being organized and having efficient time management has really helped me excel in the classroom. and getting things done properly. My goal is to keep on utilizing my skills to achieve the same grades in college. I love the game of basketball and I would love it if I could continue my basketball career at the collegiate level.
